GRC Board’s Collaborative Innovation Presents Garden Reinforced Coffee at ARCH:ID 2026

GRC board returns to Indonesia’s prestigious architecture exhibition, ARCH:ID 2026. This year, we present an installation themed ‘Garden Reinforced Coffee,’ the result of support and participation from visionary architects and expert collaborators in their respective fields.

The successfully constructed work, enjoyed by visitors, proves that construction materials like cement boards aren’t always rigid. Visitors can experience and witness firsthand the flexibility of GRC board material in an aesthetically pleasing garden installation, accompanied by a cup of coffee.

Garden Reinforced Coffee exists thanks to the contributions of experts. One of the visionary architects, Arti Design, conceived this open-air space with the hope that it would serve as a respite amidst the city’s hustle and bustle. Visitors can sit on all sides to rest for a moment and slow down their pace. This installation was designed with an emotional approach, allowing visitors to connect with the environment and feel the atmosphere within it.

This space was built from pieces of GRC board construction material and repurposed into a work of art. In this case, the architect successfully fulfilled their role by viewing raw materials as the starting point for further exploration. A warm and tranquil atmosphere is also created by the lighting elements and landscaping that complement this space. The lighting design was supported by Lighting Designer Erreluce and Lighting Support Centralite. The landscaping was supported by Landscape Designer Kroma Lab. Other expert collaborators, including Ellogrin and the initiators of Wonder of Weaving (WOW), were key to the success of this space’s journey.
