GRC BOARD CARE FOR THE CIANJUR EARTHQUAKE
On January 4, representatives from the GRC board visited one of the disaster posts in the earthquake-affected location, namely the Villa Nusa Permai housing complex and Baru Kaso Village, in Cianjur City. The purpose of the GRC board team visit is to provide some assistance in the form of cement board materials and other products from GRC board, which can later be used to renovate damaged roofs, and also work with the Indonesian Toilet Association to build GRC Modular Toilets as public facilities.
The function of the GRC Modular Toilet is to become a temporary MCK facility for residents who are forced to live in refugee camps until their homes are restored. This action is a form of GRC board's concern for people who have experienced disasters. The GRC board hopes that the condition of the survivors affected by the Cianjur earthquake will improve soon, and they can return to their homes.
